The Village Scarf

The Village Scarf is based on an antique Hungarian headscarf found during years of travel through Central and Eastern Europe. A simple square scarf, it can be worn around the head, tied at the neck, or knotted onto a basket or bag.

Its pattern preserves the colours and character of the original piece, which would once have been worn as part of everyday village dress.
